In short: your music never leaves your device. We keep information about songs and the charts made from them, never anything that identifies you.
Your audio
Charts are made in your browser, on your own device. Your audio files are never uploaded, and we never receive them, their names or anything else about them.
What we keep
When a chart is made, we keep information about the song and the chart: the song's title and artist, its lyrics, the chords and sections, and technical details about how the chart was made. When you rate a chart, we keep your rating and any note you add.
None of this is linked to you. Tabuture has no accounts and does not collect names, email addresses or IP addresses. It uses no cookies, no advertising and no tracking across sites, and we never sell data.
On your device
Your charts and settings are saved in your browser so you can come back to them. Deleting a chart, or clearing your browser's data for this site, removes them.
Others involved
To find the lyrics, your browser sends the song's title, artist and length to a public lyrics service. Our hosting provider handles requests to deliver the site, as any website host does.
How we use it
Only to run Tabuture and to make its charts better.
How long we keep it
As long as it helps improve the service. Because it is not linked to anyone, we cannot find or remove what a particular person contributed.
Children
Tabuture is not directed at children under 13.
